These terms get garbled up a lot, lets define them more closely:

Creators: This is anyone putting out content online — could be you, your friend, or an IG account dedicated to your friends baby.

Influencers: These are creators who have taken it a step further, intentionally building an audience that trusts them. They’ve created a community that listens when they talk about products or brands. [All influencers are creators, but not all creators have built the same kind of influence.] Not all influencers have the blue check, some have less than 10K followers and experience high engagement rates.

Affiliates: Traditionally, affiliates were media outlets and publications earning commissions on product promotions. Nowadays, it’s expanded to individuals who earn commissions by promoting products.

Influencer-Affiliates: Influencers willing to work on a commission basis (i.e. I'll post your t-shirt to my audience but I want a % of sales)

Creator-Affiliates: Think of TikTok creators using features like TikTok Shop and hitting $1k+ in gross sales.

UGC Creators: These are paid models or freelancers creating user-generated content (UGC), often reading scripts for brands to use in their own ads or social media accounts
