You should always have a KPI for your influencer gifting campaigns. They can either be sales driven (BOFU) or awareness driven (top of funnel):

Sales driven (bottom of funnel). Require you to give an influencer a link/discount code to attribute sales:

  • link clicks

  • number of conversions

  • time spent on site

  • conversion rate

  • ROI / ROAS

Awareness driven (top of funnel):

  • reach

  • impressions

  • views

  • comments

  • likes

  • shares

If you are just getting started though, its best to set small goals:

  1. Find 100 influencers in my niche

  2. Contact them with personalized messages

  3. Send 5 products to them
